PAPER SUBMISSION

SUBMISSION OF POST DEADLINE PAPERS

Original papers that have not been previously presented and that describe new technical contributions to the areas covered by the technical descriptions in the aforementioned category will be accepted for presentation at post deadline sessions. Latest significant results obtained after the regular deadline are most welcome.

Papers should be submitted electronically no later than noon on October 17 (Tue.), 2017, Japan Standard Time. Authors will be requested to submit 2-page paper written in English, including text, figures, tables, and references within a frame of 17 cm x 24 cm. The paper template is available through the paper submission site.

 

 

PAPER PUBLICATION
(WiFi in conference, IEEE Xplore after conference)

Accepted papers will be published through the Technical Digest and also the IEEE Xplore after the conference except for cases of no-show without notification and for paper-cancellation.

 

The technical digest of the conference will be available for download on November 17, 2017. This day will be the published date of the paper. If you have a plan to apply for patent, please pay attention to the publish date.

 

POSTER SESSION

In addition to regular oral presentation sessions, poster presentation session will be planned to stimulate detailed explanation and discussion. The author(s) of papers will be informed of the size of bulletin board for displaying summary, figures, tables, etc., when selected as poster papers.

 

JJAP SPECIAL ISSUE

A special issue on Microoptics of the JJAP, which is an international journal published by the Japan Society of Applied Physics, is scheduled for publication in Aug. 2018. Authors of papers for MOC2017 are encouraged to submit original papers to the special issue. Further information will appear in the advance program.

AWARDS

Some excellent contributed papers will be awarded the Best Paper Award. Moreover, some students who presented excellent papers will be awarded the Student Award.

FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR OVERSEAS STUDENTS

Thanks to the support from The Takano Eiichi Optical Science Funds, MOC2017 will be able to provide limited financial support for student presenters as part of travel expenses. Those who wish to receive the support are requested to download an application form, complete and submit it to the MOC2017 Registration Desk by August 31, 2017.
